Change Win-7 logon Screen

In older version of windows change of  logon screen is possible with third party software only like Tune up and all. But with the launch of Windows 7 Microsoft made this feature official and anyone can change logon screen.

Follow the below steps to change your logon screen

Step 1: Browse to the following path.

        “C:\Windows\System32\oobe\Info”

Step 2: Look for a folder backgrounds there. If it exists then its OK else create it with the exact name.

Step 3: Arrange a file which you want to use as your logon screen.

Step 4: Make sure your file is of jpg format and size less than 256kb. Yes there are some limitations in this feature too.

Step 5: Rename the file with backgroundDefault and copy it to the above folder.

Step 6: Restart your system and enjoy.

 

If you are not able to add this then you have to enable this feature by tweaking your registry.
